You can actually press "E" when he is about to start the swing for some good chunk of damage, you need to be relatively close to work.

Oh that makes sense, that's what I thought at first but I was trying it from further away because the attack sends you quite far forwards. So basically I just need to time it better and from a closer distance, thanks I'll try that out until I can get it to land.

I was making that same mistake until I watched their recording and realized what I was doing wrong.
Oh well thanks anyways, I've just finished beating it now and wasn't as ridiculously hard as a I first thought once I knew that it was just the distance/timing where I was going wrong.

Well, boss is not hard but is just unpleasant to fight. Most typical rules of enemy design are simply thrown out of the window here. It was already said a few times how it could be improved and I assume dev will actually do something about it, even if only to not hear "it is impossible" every time.

Yeah it's not particularly fun to fight, you just have to wait for him to initiate one specific attack that you can then punish. Thankfully it doesn't take too many of those attacks to beat him though so it doesn't drag on for that long.

no I beat the boss after many attempts. Only the third attack can deal damage (to do this I practice with dead cells. Machete and pistol). The fire skill can too but use at the right time.

I don't know what you mean by this, are you talking about the last hit from the melee combo or just saying that the part of it that does significant damage, because I can tell as someone that defeated it using the very 1 part of the combo (and only that) that it does damage.

It's just me or you are on PC using an Windows Emulator inside an Android Emulator, because if that's the case it doesn't count.
